About HistoryInBites
I arrived at a sceptical view of the world the way most people do — through a nagging sense that the stories often told about historical events don’t quite add up.
That feeling sent me down a long road from the United Fruit Company, the JFK assassination, through the Dulles brothers to the postwar American imperial project.
I’m releasing a series of short documentary films and my debut novel is forthcoming. I’m not a historian. I’m an architect by training, a writer by inclination, and a sceptic by disposition.
HistoryInBites is what happens when you follow the evidence wherever it leads and find it keeps arriving at the same destination.
